This is how Pismo beach looked yesterday after a week of severe rain storms. It took quite a beating but California needs the rain.
The rain reminded me of living in London and Jakarta so I loved the storms. Rain means lush, green vegetation which I think is great.
The 70 mph winds and hail were a bit scary. We even had thunderstorms which are very unusual for here.
Yesterday was our first full day of sunshine which Dad and I felt very fortunate to enjoy at Pismo beach. Shinta and I enjoyed our walk/run exploring the beach and soaking up the warm sunshine. Life is good!
