I was very excited to plant my first tree yesterday! Since most of my adult life I have moved so much, I have never before participated in such a momentous event. Jason did most of the work which I really appreciate. We planted a Beverly Hills apple tree which is supposed to do well in this area.
If you look closely in the pictures, you will see evidence of other tasks I have been working on lately. There is part of the EarthBox with my tomatoes and the ladder from painting the outside of my house last week. Have you ever rolled paint onto stucco? Wow, hard work! I am glad I do not have to do that for a living.
As I happily laid back in my hammock when I thought I was done painting, I looked up and saw that my chimney needs to be painted also. Oh well, manana... :)

it's so cool that you planted a tree! It'll be a neat marker to see how it grows with each new season. and i can relate to feeling like there's always some new project to take on as soon as one is completed! expecially since steve and i are terrible at being handyman, fixer uppers kind of folks. sounds like you and jason did some great work, though!
