I think I have one of the best assignments at Church; teaching in Nursery! I was thrilled to learn today that I now have two ladies helping me who not only enjoy the children, they are also dependable. Wow, there is no limit as to what we can accomplish now.
As with all situations, some days are better than others. Today in Nursery the children were awesome. I have put up a few of their pictures I took last month. I wish I had pictures of several marvelous moments from today. The first was when we said prayer; what a precious sight to see almost all of the children, ages 18 – 24 months, with their little arms folded and their heads bowed. You know some good things are happening in their homes.
Next was seeing their patience and delight as we did ring-around-the-rosy. Having them all focused for longer than 3 seconds on one thing is the first miracle and the second was for them to do it all at the same time. We did it more than once, too! Too fun.
I am grateful for the opportunity to spend time with these lovely children.
