Today my AIDS/LifeCycle friends left Santa Maria on their 4th day riding from San Francisco to Los Angeles. 2,200 riders stayed in the park near my house last night as you can see in the picture. This annual ride raised $10 million dollars which will benefit HIV & AIDS related services in San Francisco and Los Angeles.I had hoped to at least ride my bike to work today to get into the spirit of the event but I got up too late. Boo.
I still want to be a “roadie” some day.
