Do you recognize anyone in the picture above?
It was taken at Aunt Carole and Uncle Don's wedding on April 7, 1957 at the Chapel of Roses in Pasadena, California. This information was written on the back of the picture by Nana, my father and uncle's mother. She is standing behind Uncle Don. I am standing in front of him. Aunt Carole looks so beautiful; Uncle Don is so happy. I smile just seeing them.
Do you see the darling flower girl with the beautiful dress, gloves, hat and pretty flowers? I always wished I could be the flower girl but never got a chance. So I am very excited that Eliza gets to come out to be the flower girl for Alicia's wedding. Eliza just turned 3 years old and likes frilly, girly things so I think she will enjoy being a flower girl. Of course, it will also be wonderful to spend time with her and Amy who I haven't seen for two years.
