Good bye October!

Last weekend Stephen, Alicia, Jane, Dad and I went out to the Apple Farm Restaurant to celebrate Stephen and Alicia's birthday. The food was delicious! We took our cake to Stephen and Alicia's apartment so we could sing "Happy Birthday" with candles and open gifts and cards.

It is always a treat to get to visit with them! We also enjoyed watching the fish in their saltwater tank and learning about all the different creatures that live in it.

Last week when Dad arrived at my house to pick up Shinta for a vet appointment, he could not find her. Eventually he discovered her in my bed like this.

I couldn't get off work so I asked Grandpa and a friend, Don, to take her for me. Dad drove and Don had Shinta on the leash. (She has not been trained well so I was afraid she would pull Dad over.)

Fortunately everyone survived even though there were challenges. The first thing Shinta did when she got to the vet was poop at one end of the waiting room and then after they cleaned that up, pee at the other end. Don said if it hadn't been my dog he would have pretended he didn't know whose dog Shinta was after she pooped on the floor. I'm sure Dad was thrilled with it all, too. I do appreciate their help!!!
