Happy Day

Shinta and I enjoy the days we briskly walk around Priesker Park near our house. One section of the park has sweet smelling pine trees that remind me of the mountains and camping. So fun. Another section has euclyptus trees which remind me of Mom and Dad's house on Tallyho Road. That was always a welcome, peaceful refuge for me.

Since last summer when I walk I make sure that I get my heart beat up to a certain rate and keep it there for at least 30 minutes. (Joan coached me on how to figure out the correct rate.) It feels great and sure makes a difference in my well being. Jason took the picture of Shinta and I in my backyard after returning from our frolic in the park last week. I love being active and out in nature!
